Occupational Therapist (OT)

There are 4 categories of service users:

1. Neurological Patients

• Stroke
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
• Neurodegenerative Diseases, such as: Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s Disease. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS)

2. Musculoskeletal and Integumentary Patients

Includes conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, fractures, limb amputations, and burns/scalds.

3. Patients with hand and arm injuries resulting from trauma or other causes leading to impairments in peripheral nerves, muscles, and bones.

Examples include: Brachial Plexus Injury, Radial Nerve Injury. Median Nerve Injury. Ulnar Nerve Injury

4. 4. Patients with cardiovascular and metabolic disorders

. such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc.
